To File a Claim Against an AMC’s Surety Bond
In accordance with Neb. Rev. Stat. § 76-3215 (1), each AMC registered in Nebraska, except in cases of noncompliance with the conditions of engagement, shall make payment of fees to an appraiser for completion of an appraisal or valuation assignment within sixty days after the date on which the appraiser submits the report. If you wish to file a claim against a surety bond held by an appraisal management company registered in Nebraska, please make a written request to the Board. Your written request must address the following items:
